About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: 3/12's nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS, prefer TNCC Must-Have: - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) - BLS certification Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Required Skills and Experience: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Preferred Skills and Experience: N/A
