OB Hospitalist Opportunity

Just West of Indianapolis | Level III Perinatal Center & NICU

Not for Profit System in Terre Haute, Indiana is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to join a well-established OB Hospitalist team at the region’s only OB delivery center. This is a 100% inpatient, shift-based role with no clinic or outpatient duties, designed for physicians who enjoy high-acuity obstetrics with strong backup and predictable scheduling.

• ~1,800 deliveries/year | 3,800–4,000 OBED visits annually

• VBACs supported | Primary C-section rate: 23%
• Teaching environment with Family Medicine residents

Schedule & Openings

• Full-Time: 7–8 shifts/month (84 shifts/year)
• PRN: 1–3 shifts/month is available if desired
• 24-hour in-house shifts (8 AM–8 AM)
• No back-to-back shifts | Schedules built 3 months in advance

Exceptional Clinical Support

• In-house OB anesthesia & CRNA coverage 24/7
• In-house Neonatology 24/7
• Employed MFM within 5 minutes 
• Pediatricians round on all newborns
• Strong nursing support with a team-oriented, mentorship culture
• da Vinci D5 & Xi robots available

Compensation & Benefits

• $3,840 per 24-hr shift
• $322,000 annual income and higher 
• $25K sign-on bonus
• $4,500 CME + $1,000 license allowance
• $10K relocation assistance
• Malpractice with tail

• Benefits start first of the month after start date
