The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking qualified candidates to provide specialty care in reproductive endocrinology and infertility to patients at VCU Health. The position will include participation in student and resident education and facilitating the creation of a Fellowship program. The position also includes participating in the department's clinical research activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Actively participating in the department's educational activities, with particular attention to educating students and residents in their core educational objectives in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
• Research: Initiating clinical research projects and participating in and facilitating other department research and contributing to scholarly publications/presentations.
• Service: Serving on departmental, hospital and/or university committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field.
• Clinical: Full participation in the clinical activities of the reproductive endocrinology and infertility division, including a combination of clinic, inpatient care, and operating room.
• Other: Participating in department and institutional administrative activities as assigned by the section chief and chair.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of ABOG or ACGME accredited fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility
• Eligible for medical license in Virginia
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching and patient care
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency
• Certification by the American Board of OB/GYN in General OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility; candidates who completed their fellowship recently enough that they are not yet eligible to sit for the exam will be considered with the expectation that they take the certification exams at the earliest opportunity
• Potential for scholarship or creative expression to complement and expand existing expertise in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
