Emergency Department Physician Assistant (PA) LOCUMS Level I Trauma Center Kansas City, MO

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Physician Assistant (PA) to join a high-acuity team at a Level I Trauma Center in Kansas City, Missouri . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to a wide range of complex cases.

Position Highlights:

• Practice in a Level I Trauma Center with high patient volume and acuity
• Work alongside experienced emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Exposure to trauma, critical care, and diverse emergency cases
• Supportive and team-oriented clinical environment

Schedule & Coverage:

• Flexible scheduling options available
• Day, night, and weekend shifts may be required
• Ongoing or long-term assignment potential

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in trauma response and critical care management

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active Missouri license (or ability to obtain)
• Prior Emergency Department experience required
• Experience in high-acuity or trauma settings strongly preferred
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications preferred
