Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: New Hampshire

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week. Please note: Block scheduling will not be accommodated. RTO of 5 days or less accepted; however, requests for Halloween, October 31, will not be approved.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients in a Med Surg unit, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. This position requires experience in cardiac drips and dementia management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total nursing care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Participate in patient and family educational programs.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document care and coordinate with healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience.
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact License required.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with NIHSS strongly preferred.
• Must have your own vehicle; this community has no public transport.
