Junior Sales Associate SIMONA AMERICA Group

Summary/Objective
The Junior Sales Associate will play a key role in supporting the North American business team and contributing to growth in both new and existing markets. Through extensive handson training at our manufacturing sites and ongoing mentorship from experienced sales professionals the Junior Sales Associate will gain a deep understanding of our products capabilities and customer landscape before transitioning into active field engagement.

In this role you will help expand the companys presence within the OEM and fabrication channels strengthen relationships with customers and identify new applications for our diverse product portfolio. Our materials serve a wide range of industriesincluding chemical processing semiconductors aviation orthopedics outdoor recreation signage furniture and marineoffering a unique opportunity to learn how performance plastics enable innovation across markets.

The ideal candidate is curious motivated and ready to collaborate across commercial technical and operational teams. You will contribute to market research business planning and opportunity development while learning how to translate customer needs into actionable strategies. As part of a highly engaged and growthoriented team you will help support initiatives that diversify our market presence and drive longterm profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Extensive training and development to understand the business our capabilities and markets
Prospecting and qualifying leads with the sales team
Pipeline management: follow new opportunities provide accurate reporting and ensure alignment with the budget
Market research: conduct an analysis of current and potential markets industry trends and competitive landscape
Engage and build relationships within the organization and the performance plastics industry
Make joint calls with the North American sales team
Prepare data for each new market to include: size of market go to market plan product positioning strategy SWOT Analysis growth projections value proposition list of key customers & contacts along the value chain: end users OEMs designers tier suppliers thermoformers
Participate and drive SIMONA presence at key trade shows trade associations and trade media
Identify and develop a new business pipeline to support the company goals to double the business in 5 years
Provide direction and strategy for new products and solutions for the new markets identified
Collaborate with marketing R&D product development innovation team and production operations
Participate in price strategy development considering competitive landscape

Qualifications and Skills
BS or BA minimum required in sales business or technical or equivalent
Proficient in English other European languages a plus
Strong presentation skills
Sales technical or thermoplastics industry experience a plus
2-4 years of professional work experience a plus
Ability to use CRM Microsoft Suite Products

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salary exempt position. Hours of work are general Monday through Friday 8 hours per day. 40 hours per week. Some overtime is expected.
