Human Resources Assistant

About the CompanyOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources Manager in bringing the HR department into full compliance. This role requires strong familiarity with HR compliance standards, particularly those related to employee personnel files. The HR Assistant will also provide broad support across all HR functions as needed.About the RoleContract Human Resources Assistant - On-Site, in Cedar City, UT. The estimated time for the contract is 3 to 6 months.ResponsibilitiesAssist the HR Manager in reviewing, organizing, and updating employee files to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and company requirementsMaintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring proper documentation and retention practicesSupport onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, system updates, and compliance checklistsAssist with benefits administration, employee relations tasks, and policy implementationProvide general administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, reporting, scheduling, and communicationHelp ensure HR processes align with compliance standards and internal proceduresQualificationsExperience working in HR, preferably with exposure to compliance and personnel file managementStrong understanding of HR documentation requirements and best practicesHigh attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentialityStrong organizational and communication skillsRequired SkillsDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
