User Experience Designer

Our client, a leading organization in the SaaS and eCommerce industry, is seeking a User Experience Designer to join their team. As a User Experience Designer, you will be part of the Product Design department supporting the Gift & Stored Value team. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: User Experience Designer Location: New York, NY (On-site required 3 to 5 days a week at 1 Broadway, New York, NY; flexibility to be onsite as needed) Responsibilities Enhance and develop tokenized design systems within Figma, building scalable UI components and templates Support UX/UI design initiatives across merchant management SaaS platforms and eCommerce storefronts Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences Contribute to the creation of an interactive UI toolkit, likely utilizing Storybook Participate in multiple project phases, from design system grooming to product feature design and implementation Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, clean UI, and atomic design system work Proficiency in building and extending tokenized design systems and familiarity with atomic design methodology Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator Basic front-end coding skills, including HTML/CSS; experience with Storybook is a plus Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers, with a problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage time effectively Benefits Opportunity to work on innovative SaaS and eCommerce projects in a dynamic environment Engagement with a talented and collaborative team of professionals Chance to contribute to scalable design systems and impactful product features Potential for contract-to-hire opportunities based on performance Work in a flexible, inclusive environment that values diversity and innovation If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
