If a sonographer works a 10hr day- they would be expected to complete 9 patients in their shift.Patient Ratios: 1 patient at a time, 10hr shift- 9 patients, 8hour shift, 7 patients, etcEquipment: Philips Ultrasound machineEMR: EPICMust Have Skills/Experience: Echo tech 2+ yrs, 2 Years technological education to provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound to gather necessary data to determine cardiac conditions of patients. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS Heart saver Card or obtain within probationary period and RDCS or CCI registered.Additional information: The Cardiac Sonographer is a skilled person qualified by technological education to provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound to gather necessary data to determine cardiac conditions of patients. Other: Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: This individual must be capable of walking long distances, transporting ultrasound equipment and assist in lifting patients. Candidate may perform Cardiac stress test and/or assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms but not mandatory. Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Sonographer, Echo Experience: 2 years Certifications: RDCS-AE-ARDMS
