The Professional Pet Groomer is responsible for providing high-quality grooming services primarily for dogs, working independently to ensure each pet receives attentive care. This role involves utilizing proprietary grooming products and equipment to maintain the health and appearance of pets, while also managing customer interactions and appointments efficiently. The groomer occasionally handles health inspection and record-keeping tasks to comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Bathing pets using proprietary grooming products
• Trimming hair and clipping nails to breed standards and pet comfort
• Caring for skin and coat health
• Safely handling animals during grooming
• Sanitizing grooming equipment and work areas
• Interacting professionally with customers
• Scheduling and managing appointments

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in pet grooming
• Strong skills in animal handling and grooming techniques
• Understanding of sanitation and safety practices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail

This is a commission based position, at 40% commission plus tips, w2 pay.
