Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: SLP Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience required in a pediatric outpatient setting. License: Valid State License required. Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP Must-Have: Experience with infants, pediatrics, and adolescents. Description: Schedule is flexible with options for four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Workdays include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with no weekends. Daily patient visits include up to 9 patients. Documentation systems utilized are Wellsky and Epic. Support available includes interpretation services and physical therapy. The patient population includes individuals with autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders. Awareness of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse is required. Educating patients and families is an essential aspect of the role. Required documentation includes assessments, discharge summaries, evaluations, plans of care, and Medicaid-related paperwork. Flying to other units within the facility may be necessary. Floating to affiliate hospitals is also an expectation for all travelers. Preference given to candidates with Epic charting system experience. Candidates must submit references from the last 24 months. Module training requirements apply and may vary by specialty.
