Field Service Technician

Clayton Services is searching for a Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial equipment manufacturer in Southwest Houston. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and commissioning industrial equipment at customer facilities throughout the region. Field Service Technician Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in both shop and field environments Perform startup, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation Complete service reports and project documentation Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and performance improvements Ensure compliance with customer safety requirements and company policies Travel to customer locations as needed to support service operations Other duties as assigned Field Service Technician Skills and Abilities: Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation Working knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems Strong customer service and communication abilities Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Field Service Technician Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required Technical school, military, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing industrial equipment Manufacturing, industrial, energy, oil & gas, or related industry experience preferred Ability to travel as required #J-18808-Ljbffr Clayton Services
