School Social Worker (Elementary) Location: South Redford, MI Caseload: PreK-5th Grade, ASD and self-contained classrooms Start/End Date: 2026-2027 School Year About the Opportunity: AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in South Redford, MI. This is a full-time position supporting one elementary school throughout the school year. You will join a supportive district that already includes nine of our AnthroMed team members, ensuring you have a strong peer network from day one. You will work alongside another social worker in the building supporting students across ASD and self-contained classrooms. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable supporting students who require higher levels of support. In this role you will also run Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) groups to support broader building needs. Caseload and Environment:

• Targeted Caseload: Approximately 35 students with IEPs.
• Focus: ASD and self-contained classrooms as well as SEL groups.
• Support Structure: Another social worker is also in the building with you to collaborate with and work alongside.
• Dedicated Space: You will have a dedicated office space to conduct sessions and meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
• Conduct IEP Evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
• Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
• Lead and support the implementation of BIPS and FBAs.
• Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
• Support students and families in accessing community resources.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Michigan School Social Work Certification
• Experience working with school-aged children for one year.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $60,000-$78,000/year based on experience (paid weekly) AnthroMed Employee Benefits (for 30+ hours/week):
