We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Key Responsibilities of the Line Cook:Learns and maintains standards in food production and qualityPreparing and cooking for a la carte menus and specialty menuMaintain a clean workspace and abide by local and national food safety lawsExpedites orders in a timely mannerPractices excellent operational sanitationExecutes scheduled banquet functionsMaintains a professional relationship with fellow associatesHelps reduce loss/wasteCommunicates equipment repair needs with chefActively participates in training effortsIncorporates safe work practices in job performanceAttends staff meetingsChecks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to chef in chargeVerifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basisProcesses inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality productionPrepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plansPrepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent productHave a passion to create exquisite foodMinimum Qualifications for the Line Cook:Associates Culinary Degree and 2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceThis position requires flexible hours, including evening and weekend shiftsRequires dependable transportationMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to lift up to 25 lbsOther Qualifications:Serv Safe Certified preferred.Job Types: Full-time and Part-time schedules available.Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon:Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
