Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) - Evening Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 245 PM - 11 PM, Every Other Weekend (EOW)
The Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) will provide compassionate care to residents in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility with a total of 300 beds across multiple units. Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication and treatment administration, including IV medication and TPN.
- Conduct assessments, charting, and incident reporting.
- Perform wound care, including measurement and monitoring.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide patient support.
- Monitor vitals and administer oxygen therapy as needed.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists.
- Current RN or LPN Licensure.
- BLS Certification.
- Prior experience with PCC is preferred; limited training will be provided.
- Experience in measuring wounds (but not staging).
