Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a teaching hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens equipment and Level 1 Trauma protocols, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging within a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols including radiation badge compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to meet facility needs, including floating within scope and to sister facilities as required.
• Document procedures accurately in electronic health records and ensure all first-time and recurring patient cases are managed efficiently.
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with on-call rotations, holiday schedules, and emergency response protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 6 months of experience in a Level 1 Trauma or similar acute care setting.
• Hold current ARRT (R) (CT) certification and SCRQSA (R) (CT) credentials, with Siemens CT experience preferred.
• Maintain active BLS certification and in-hand South Carolina RN license or proof of application.
• Be able to provide a radiation badge and adhere to state and facility-specific compliance standards.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Epic charting system and hospital safety protocols.
