Location: Rochester, MI

Shift & Schedule

Shift: Night shift - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 shifts per week
Weekends: Every other weekend required

• Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- 1 year of Cerner experience
- Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care
Certifications:
- BLS (Required)
- NRP (Required)
Licensure:
- Current Michigan RN license (Michigan State Board of Nursing)

Education

Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN )

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The RN utilizes the nursing process-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation-to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family education. The role includes effective communication with the healthcare team and active participation in identifying and resolving variances from patient care goals.

Required:

Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans
Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services
Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff
