Job OpportunityPosition: Surgical TechShift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)Start Date: ASAPSchedule: 4x10 EveningsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, GYN, Urology, and Robotics, preferably with da Vinci and Mako systems.ResponsibilitiesAssist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and equipment.Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure.Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to facilitate optimal patient care.Participate in the training and mentoring of new staff as required.Be available for on-call shifts, with a commitment of up to 5 call shifts per month, including weekends.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician.Current BLS certification.Valid surgical technician license in the state of employment.Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.Additional InformationWillingness to take weekend call and participate in weekend shifts as scheduled.Ability to float to sister facilities as necessary.Daily census will include a patient demographic primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics.LocationCity, State: [City, State]We welcome first-time travelers and encourage all suitable candidates to apply!
