Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring ARRT-R or RCIS certification and prior cardiovascular lab experience.

Details

• Cardiology unit cardiovascular cath lab setting
• 13-week assignment with day shift hours from 08:00 to 16:30
• Assists physicians with invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring

Requirements

• ARRT-R required (license required if applicable) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
• ARRT-CI or ARRT-VI or RCI certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department required
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills required

Additional Information

• Prepares procedure rooms and monitors par levels of instruments and supplies
• Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and training of new staff
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
• Accepts local candidates
