Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties, including preparing medications and managing inventory.
• Compound sterile batches in a clean room environment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and replenish crash carts to ensure readiness for emergencies.
• Utilize Omnicell and auto cart systems for medication distribution.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM.
• Rotating weekends required.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding practices.
• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) Certification.
