About the Role We're looking for a BAU Developer to own the day-to-day build and execution of our email and SMS program for US domestic audiences. This role sits at the intersection of production and quality control — you'll turn briefs, calendars, and creative into pixel-accurate, on-brand deployments in Klaviyo, while keeping cross-client rendering, deliverability, and testing standards tight across every send. This is a strong fit for someone who's equally comfortable coding a template from scratch, running a clean A/B test, and catching the small QA issue before it goes to production. Core Responsibilities Build and code BAU (business-as-usual) email campaigns for US domestic audiences Translate production briefs, calendar and creative into accurate image or HTML based emails Implement dynamic content blocks, merge tags, and personalization tokens in Klaviyo Ensure cross-client rendering (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, mobile) via thorough testing Implement A/B testing management within platform, ensuring clean results Test, QA, and post-production for each email/SMS deployment Maintain and update reusable email template library and modular code components Collaborate with CRM File Manager on audience-specific content variations Support promotional, editorial, and transactional email builds on a daily cadence Qualifications 2–4 years of hands-on HTML email development experience Expert-level HTML/CSS for email: tables-based layouts, inline styles, media queries Proficiency with Klaviyo template editor and dynamic content syntax Experience with email testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid) Familiarity with AMP for email and interactive email elements is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to match designs at pixel level Success Metrics 10+ BAU email builds completed per week with zero rendering defects Cross-client QA pass rate of 98%+ on first review Build turnaround under 4 hours for standard template-based campaigns Template library maintained with 20+ reusable modules documented Code review issues reduced by 50% within first quarter All emails meet accessibility standards (alt text, semantic structure, contrast) Dark mode compatibility verified for 100% of production sends #J-18808-Ljbffr Nashville Public Radio
