Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN Physical Therapist Assistant position are available at Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

$5K Retention Bonus is available for the full-time position.

Hourly Rate is dependent upon years of experience. FT/PT varies between $28 and $38 per hour. PRNs are $38-$45 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients' condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
