A leading company focused on privacy and safety regulations is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Located in Brooklyn, NY, the role is a contract position supporting the platform. This opportunity is ideal for experienced engineers eager to develop reliable systems and collaborate cross-functionally.
Hybrid Schedule Onsite - Tue, Wed and Thursday
Senior Full Stack Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead projects to develop and improve backend platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product, legal, and engineering teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in a production language such as PHP, Python, Java, or Go.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, from problem framing to deployment and production support.
- Support incident response and monitor system observability to maintain system reliability.
Senior Full Stack Engineer Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience building reliable backend and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one production language, focusing on quality and maintainability.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and incident response.
- Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate across various teams.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in privacy concepts such as data minimization, access controls, and compliance.
