Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in high-acuity obstetric care is needed in Carmel, Indiana. The position involves working in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit, providing safe and evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced environment. The assignment offers an opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled medical team and support maternity services within a tertiary care setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Carmel, Indiana
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Indiana license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery or a related setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWHONN staffing guidelines, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Additional Information: The hospital includes 8 Labor and Delivery beds, 2 Operating Rooms, 3 Triage beds, 4 High-Risk Antepartum beds, 25 Mother-Baby beds, and a 16-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The environment prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration, rapid clinical response, and nationally recognized staffing standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Coverages include OB Anesthesia, OB Hospitalists, Neonatology, and Pediatric Hospitalists.
