About the Job Order Selector

Job Title: Order Selector/Packer

Summary: Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials. Operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Driving stand up forklifts around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.
• Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to transport 1213-foot bundles, packages and materials around warehouse.

Requirements:

• Must have stand up forklift experience (Raymond Standup)
• Proven experience operating a standup forklift
• Ability to move bundles as high as 20-30 feet
• Experience in general labor and warehouse

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Frequently required to stand and walk
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
• Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally required to balance, bend, stoop, or kneel
