SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION: Provides outpatient BehavioralTreatment Services toindividuals with substanceuse disorders, mentalhealth disorders, and/or co-occurringdisorders. Responsiblefor assessing clients, developing and implementingindividualized action plans, and providing individual, group, family, andcrisis treatment servicesas appropriate. Alsoresponsible for referralsto appropriate servicesand coordination withother service providers. Performs related dutiesas required. MAJOR DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates agency corevalues in dailyactivities. Meets annual productivitystandard of 100%. Meets documentation timelinessstandards. Demonstrates effective useof technology andappropriate use ofsupport resources. Follows agency policiesand procedures. Completes all requiredannual training updates. Handles intake callsand performs initialassessments in accordancewith regulatory requirements. Develops and reviewsindividualized client actionplans, objectives, andtreatment methods basedon assessment findings. Conducts individual, group, and family counselingsessions. Coordinates services withineral staff andexternal agencies. Implements established treatmentplans and providesassigned clinical interventions. Contacts collateral supportsand family membersto encourage participationin the client'streatment and, whenappropriate, their owntreatment. Serves as aresource and consultantto other serviceproviders regarding clientreferrals and collaboratesto ensure appropriateservice linkage. Prepares reports, maintainsclinical records, participatesin training, andprovides required statisticaldata. Ensures advocacy, servicelinkage, care coordination, and related activitiesare completed asneeded. Performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Must possess one of the following: Credentialing as aCertified Alcoholism andSubstance Abuse Counselor(CASAC) with five(5) years ofexperience. Licensure as aSocial Worker withtwo (2) yearsof experience. Certification as aRehabilitation Counselorwith two (2) years of experience. Limited Permit or Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor with two (2) years of experience. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree preferred, consistent with requiredlicensure. Educational qualificationsmust meet applicableregulatory requirements. EXPERIENCE: Experience must meetapplicable regulatory requirements. Preferred: One (1) year of experiencein human servicesworking with individualsdiagnosed with SeriousMental Illness (SMI) and/or SubstanceUse Disorder (SUD).
