Physician - OB/GYN

Overview We are looking for a doctor to work in a Level III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The job includes: Responsibilities Work mostly in a clinic, about 3 to 3.5 days a week, and spend 1 day a week in the operating room (OR). Be on call with a team, taking turns every 4 to 5 weeks, including weekends; midwives will cover some calls every 3 weeks. Provide care for pregnant women and perform gynecological surgery, including robotic surgery (if you are interested in robotic surgery, that’s a plus). You will join a supportive team and work in a clinic that offers traditional services and call duties. Requirements You need to live within 30 minutes of the hospitals. No need to supervise other staff. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Qualifications You must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (this means you should be planning to take the test within 2 years). You must have a medical license in Ohio, or be willing to get one. You need to have a clean history with no malpractice or license issues. You need to have a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration, or be able to obtain one. It is highly preferred if you have an interest in robotic surgery. Important Terms Board Certified: You have finished all training and passed the necessary tests. Board Eligible: You are ready to take the tests within two years. DEA: This is a registration for doctors to prescribe medications. State License Requirements: You must meet the rules for practicing medicine in Ohio. #J-18808-Ljbffr
