Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Submission Requirements: Quickly interviewing viable candidates: Phone call/text from a 405 area code Orientation Dates : 9/14, 9/28 (sooner start will be prioritized) Experience in Labor & Delivery [required] Experience in Post Partum / mother-baby care [preferred] current/recent high risk OB experience in level I trauma facility [highly preferred] current/recent high risk OB experience in level II trauma facility [required] Antepartum, C-section/vaginal delivery experience [required] No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos [required] Intermediate or Advance EFM / AWHONN certificate is accepted [required] EPIC emr experience [required] PROFILE REQUIREMENTS: Work history/resume/employment history must have recent/current Labor & Delivery experience [required] Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Labor & Delivery) – [required] Nursys must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission – [required] [document] Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred] Driver’s License [document] [required] AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support – [required] AHA/American Heart Association - ACLS certificate - advance cardiac life support [required] NRP certificate [required] AWHONN certificate [document] [required] Certification Requirements ACLS (AHA) BLS FHM NRP State License Requirements Iowa Compact Allowed Additional License Requirements AWHONN or I-EFM accepted About Premier Medical Staffing Services Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC is a nationally expanding healthcare staffing firm for healthcare professionals and companies.
