Contract | Nights | Full-Time | Onsite | 36–48 hours per week (3 or 4 x 12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the telemetry unit
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all patient care decisions
• Utilize electronic medical record systems, including EPIC, to accurately document patient care and clinical findings

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months
• EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used within the same role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
