The perfect candidate will assume the following duties:Direct the planning and implementation of projects for antibody and protein modification such as enhancing affinity, creating multi-specific antibodies, and pioneering binder developmentLead the way in protein production, refinement, and characterization processes for various applicationsCreate and conduct examinations and functional tests to assess and refine engineered proteinsWork in conjunction with structural biologists and computational experts to integrate structural findings into research programsUtilize computational resources like AlphaFold and Rosetta to assist and enlighten experimental tacticsThe suitable applicant will meet the following criteria:PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, or relevant field plus over 2 years of industry practicePractical knowledge in protein production, refinement, and characterizationExperience with antibody modification methods like dual-specific, nanobodies, or similar techniquesPublished works and/or patents related to antibody or protein modificationFamiliarity with computational design tools such as AlphaFold, Rosetta, ProteinMPNN is a benefitDemonstrated ability to supervise technical teams and handle intricate, multifaceted projectsExcellent written and verbal communication proficiencies
