Business Analyst - Workday Implementation - St. Paul, MNStart Date: September 8, 2026 End Date: January 15, 2027 with potential for extension We are seeking a Business Analyst Consultant for a Workday implementation. The work will be primarily around Business Process Mapping with additional details as shown below.Primary ResponsibilitiesUnderstands the business drivers and expected business outcomes.Builds trust-based relationships with stakeholders.Collaborates with key stakeholders.Defines approach and performs activities to "Client", document, and prioritize stakeholder requirements for assigned module(s).Optimize current-state business processes, when possible, in future-state design.Collaborate to develop a Responsibilities Assignment Matrix (i.e., RACI).Collaborate to develop a stakeholder register.Collaborate with the vendor to identify application configuration requirements.Logs and follows-through to disposition risks, action items, issues, and decisions.Collaborates to develop use cases, scenarios, and test scripts.Documents and prioritizes defects and drives remediation efforts.Develops and submits status reports.Other duties as assignedMandatory QualificationsB.S. or B.A. degree (4 year) (or Associates degree plus an additional 5 years' experience)Demonstrated competency with mapping Human Resource and Finance business processes that contain steps in and outside of systems5+ years experience in working with multiple stakeholder groups to map, document and optimize business processes.Experience with interviewing stakeholders and workshops to extract accurate operational data.LOCAL Candidates onlyDesired SkillsExperience as a Business Analyst in state, county, or city governments or non-profit sectorExperience with Workday system (HCM and FIN)CBAP, PMI-PBA, or other business analysis certificationLean, Six Sigma, or other business process mapping framework or certification.Experience with MS Visio, or other software tools.Note: Diverse and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. #LI-DNI
