Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Vallejo, CA, requiring an active CA RN license and at least 1 year of recent critical care experience.

Details

• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting at a hospital in Vallejo, CA
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be active at time of consideration, pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU experience (within the last 3 years) required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related degree preferred
• 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred

Additional Information

• Per facility HR policy, contingent workers may not exceed a cumulative two years of assignment time without a minimum 90-consecutive-day break, regardless of whether the time was worked continuously or across multiple assignments with gaps of less than three months
