The flexible work schedule allows therapists to better balance their professional and personal lives, ensuring job satisfaction and overall well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations after injury, surgery, or illness.Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.Document all patient interactions, including treatment provided and progress observed, in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.Guide and educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic techniques and the use of assistive devices to enhance their functional independence.Stay abreast of best practices by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for each patient.Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Physical Therapist at Cottage Physical Therapy, you will work closely with a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and the elderly. Patients may be recovering from a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your role will be critical in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life by developing functional skills and addressing their specific therapeutic needs.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.Competence in using basic word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems.Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and settings.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience in home health or outpatient physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory, as we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow.Experience in working with assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment is a plus.Compensation and BenefitsThis role offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
