Pay: $30–$40/hr, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Bender CCP is looking for an experienced Welder to join our Operations team. You’ll perform welding, fitting, fabrication, and repair work on pumps, turbines, compressors, shafts, and other industrial rotating equipment. What You’ll Do Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work orders. Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys. Fit, align, fabricate, and weld components to required dimensions and tolerances. Perform welding in multiple positions, including 6G pipe welding. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, grinding, and other required processes. Set up and operate welding machines, positioners, grinders, and fabrication equipment. Select appropriate welding processes, filler metals, consumables, and equipment settings. Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and defects. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions. Perform grinding, blending, and finishing as needed. Work closely with machinists, mechanics, and engineers to complete repairs and projects. Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE requirements. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED. 5+ years of welding experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or similar environment. Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding. Ability to successfully pass a 6G weld test. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols. Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys. Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision components. Comfortable using basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to quality and safety. Preferred Experience Welding or repairing pumps, turbines, compressors, shafts, or other rotating equipment. Submerged Arc Welding (SAW). Fabrication, fitting, machining support, or mechanical repair. Forklift or overhead crane experience. Why Join Bender CCP?
