Direct Support Professional – Brentwood, CA Job Title: Direct Support Professional Hourly Rate: $17.50- $19.00/hr. Here\u2019s What You\u2019ll Do: The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients. Essential Functions: Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients\u2019 (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan. Assist clients with bathroom needs. Change clients\u2019 undergarments and/or clothing if needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up. Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary). Education and Experience: Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire) First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain) Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a California Driver\u2019s License Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
