Associate Veterinarian - Vestal, NY

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: No current shift differential for nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian in Vestal, New York. The position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary examinations and medical care
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and wellness plans
• Perform appropriate medical and veterinary procedures
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment recommendations effectively with pet owners
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other team members
• Participate in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and professional development

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program
• Active U.S. Veterinary License required
• 3-5 years of veterinary experience is required
• Comfortable treating a variety of animal species
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to quality patient care
