Position Overview

Techwood Precision is seeking a highly experienced manual machinist with a minimum of eight years of professional machining experience . The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical skill, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce high‐accuracy components using traditional machining equipment. This role requires a professional who can work independently, uphold strict quality standards, and contribute to a culture of precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manual mills and lathes to produce high‐tolerance components
• Interpret and execute work from technical drawings and detailed specifications
• Perform accurate measurements and quality checks throughout the machining process
• Utilize a personal set of professional tools to complete daily tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and consistent output
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‐on machining experience in a professional shop setting
• Advanced proficiency with manual mills and lathes
• Ownership of a complete and well‐maintained personal tool set
• Demonstrated ability to work with tight tolerances and high‐precision requirements
• Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Commitment to quality, safety, and professional conduct
