Job Title: Pharmacy Warehouse Assistant
Job Description
This role combines pharmacy support and warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of prescription medications and supplies. You will support daily pharmacy workflows by managing inventory, preparing dispensing boxes, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities while maintaining strict storage and handling standards.
Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations by performing warehouse duties related to the storage, handling, and movement of prescription drugs and supplies.
• Store drugs and supplies properly, including maintaining appropriate refrigeration for perishable products and ensuring all items are organized and labeled correctly.
• Monitor, adjust, and calibrate pharmacy equipment as directed to support accurate dispensing and safe operations.
• Assist with filling and preparing dispensing boxes, ensuring contents are correct, complete, and ready for distribution.
• Create, correct, and print shipping labels as needed to ensure accurate and timely shipment of packages.
• Bring prepared packages to shipping, mail, and courier services as needed to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor prescription drug inventory within the pharmacy computer system, updating records to reflect accurate stock levels.
• Receive incoming inventory, verify product against documentation, and ensure accurate product receipt and documentation.
• Assist with discrepancy resolution by investigating and helping correct differences between physical inventory and system records.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for all prescription drug inventory, including appropriate shelving, rotation, and temperature control.
• Perform cycle counting activities to verify inventory accuracy and identify any variances.
• Complete order processing tasks, including picking, packing, and documenting orders according to established procedures.
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to pharmacy operations, inventory control, and safety.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a pharmacy or warehouse setting.
• Demonstrated ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including handling inventory and preparing shipments.
• Ability to manage inventory, including counting, tracking, and reconciling stock within a computer system.
• Capability to lift up to 35 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks while performing warehouse and pharmacy support tasks.
• High School Diploma or GED (or higher).
• Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License or ability to obtain licensure before hire.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with pharmacy operations and terminology.
• Experience with packing and preparing orders for shipment.
• Comfort using basic computer systems to monitor inventory and process orders.
• Strong attention to detail when handling medications, labels, and documentation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively in a structured, process-driven environment.

Work Environment
This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional overtime may be requested based on business needs but is not regularly expected. The role is based in a pharmacy warehouse environment that involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working around shelving, storage areas, and refrigeration units. You will work with pharmacy computer systems, labeling equipment, and standard shipping and receiving tools. The environment is process-oriented and safety-focused, with established procedures for handling, storing, and shipping prescription medications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
