Job Summary Date Posted: 2026-07-06 Location: Hartford, CT Role Type: Onsite Citizenship: U.S. Citizen required About the Role The Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Systems Engineering team is a worldwide organization hyper‑focused on the needs of commercial airline customers, driving profitability and improving engine performance via data analytics. We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to develop decision‑making tools, dashboards, and processes to optimize engineering and aftermarket operations. Responsibilities Develop and maintain customized analytics tools and dashboards for Aftermarket and Engineering program teams. Create and maintain features in a web application following coding best practices. Support platform maturity, sustainment, and operational planning, including reliability improvements, lifecycle management, and scalability initiatives. Apply data‑analytics techniques to analyze datasets and derive insights supporting engineering programs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver results. Engage in process changes through CORE and the P&W leadership operating model. Required Qualifications BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). 8 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of related engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications Systems engineering experience and familiarity with commercial aircraft engines. Programming proficiency, digital tool development experience, and agile development projects. Python proficiency with object‑oriented programming knowledge. Experience working with large datasets and SQL. Understanding or eagerness to learn about engine systems such as mechanical, vibration dynamics, externals, and controls. Demonstrated leadership and self‑direction; willingness to teach and learn new techniques. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
