Role Description The Document Control Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Missouri City, TX. This role is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, drawings, and records related to engineered-to-order ball valve projects. Day-to-day tasks include managing document workflows, ensuring version control, maintaining records compliance, and supporting quality control processes by verifying documentation accuracy and completeness. The coordinator will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to distribute and retrieve documents, track approvals, and maintain standardized filing systems. The role also involves preparing reports, responding to documentation requests, and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders to support timely project execution. Qualifications Strong documentation and document management skills, including organizing, controlling, and updating technical files. Experience in records management practices to ensure accurate retention, retrieval, and compliance with company and industry standards. Knowledge of quality control principles as they relate to documentation accuracy, completeness, and revision control. Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and clarifying documentation requirements. Proficiency with document management systems, shared drives, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office, PDF tools). Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple documentation requests simultaneously. Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering environments is preferred, especially in valves or related mechanical products.
