Compensation Your compensation will be generously negotiated based on your experience and qualifications. Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Eligibility to work in the United States. Outpatient experience is preferred but not required. Interest in aquatic therapy and a desire to expand clinical skills. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans. Guide patients through aquatic therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities. Apply modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound as directed. Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapists. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in a one‑on‑one treatment setting. Skills Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills. Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care. Solid understanding of physical therapy techniques and principles. Ability to follow direction while working independently when appropriate.
