Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days | 4 × 12-hour shifts
Hours: 48 hours/week
Department: IMCU / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Level I Trauma facility required

• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Strong Progressive Care / Intermediate Care nursing experience preferred

Unit Details

• Unit: IMCU

• Unit Capacity: 16–10 beds

• Patient Ratio: 1 RN : 4 patients

• Charting: EPIC

Patient Population

Care for a diverse, high-acuity patient population, including:

• Sepsis

• Heart failure

• Hypertensive emergencies

• Acute respiratory failure

• COPD

• Chronic kidney disease (CKD)

• Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)

• Substance abuse/overdose

• Encephalopathy

• Patients requiring Heparin drips
