Senior Product Manager, Data – Grata Grata, part of the Datasite family, is a leading private‑market dealmaking platform that helps companies find, research, and engage with private companies. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager, Data to spearhead our data initiatives, expand the scope of private companies in our system, introduce new datasets, and uphold high data quality standards. Responsibilities Build a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behaviors by partnering with commercial teams and conducting user research and data analysis. Develop strategic roadmaps with clear milestones and measurable metrics to achieve ambitious goals and track progress effectively. Work across machine learning, data science, design, engineering, QA, and product marketing to define and ship the roadmap. Prioritize initiatives ruthlessly using a data‑driven approach to maximize impact and deliver customer value. Craft detailed requirements informed by customer conversations, usage data analysis, and iterative feedback from design and engineering teams. Establish yourself as the go‑to expert and trusted leader for the product area, building credibility through ownership and results. Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and executive stakeholders, distilling complex ideas into clear insights that drive alignment across the organization. Ensure Grata’s data adheres to data quality standards, maintain reliability, and scale effectively with the evolving needs of our growing business. Qualifications 5+ years of product management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing a strategic vision and product roadmap for data initiatives. Ability to partner and influence effectively across all levels of an organization and to improve the work going on around you. Experience in a prior start‑up or high‑ambiguity environment; a track record of managing ambiguity and complexity affecting many stakeholders in an organized and structured way. Comfortable working hands‑on with data to inform product decisions – able to write SQL and analyze datasets (familiarity with Python or R a plus). Working knowledge of data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance sufficient to partner credibly with engineering and data science. Familiarity with modern data‑stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, dbt) and how they shape what’s feasible for the product. Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps that scale with the business. Interested in an office‑centric culture with a flexible work environment. Bonus / Preferred Domain knowledge and experience with the private capital markets. Prior experience as a data scientist, data engineer or senior data analyst. Benefits & Compensation Base salary range: $100,600.00 – $169,800.00. The position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable. Location & Work Model Hybrid – work from the NYC office (near Columbus Circle) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; remote work is available for other days.
