Responsibilities
- Process and refill outpatient prescriptions under pharmacist supervision in a high-volume setting
- Verify patient information, insurance details, dosing instructions, and contraindications
- Stock and organize medications, prepare labels, and manage inventory and expired medication controls
- Enter prescription data into the pharmacy information system and support the dispensing workflow
- Assist pharmacists with medication safety checks, reconciliation, and patient education as needed
- Communicate with prescribers and patients to resolve questions and ensure accurate dispensing

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a high-volume setting
- Certification preferred: CPHT or PTCB
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Able to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week; guaranteed 40 hours
- Local candidates preferred
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
