They develop, motivate, and lead high‑performing teams, align them with company values, and regularly share the vision and mission with staff and customers. Store Managers own team culture, trust, and accountability. Description As a manager of people, you build your team through recruiting, training, development, and coaching. You maintain high training standards so the team delivers personalized shopping experiences and promotes brand loyalty. You execute visual merchandising directions, maintain store standards, and manage inventory, cash, and labor. You adapt operational and training programs to increase sales and meet revenue goals. Understanding local markets and industry trends helps you anticipate customer demands and expand traffic. Core Competencies Coach and develop the team to drive business results and professional growth. Ensure the highest level of customer service and prioritize brand and product knowledge training. Meet and exceed budgeted sales and revenue goals and monitor expenses. Develop store strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, expand traffic, and optimize profitability. Proactively cultivate awareness of market trends, clienteling, and community outreach. Implement store administration and operations, including compliance with policies and procedures. Manage inventory and partner with corporate stakeholders to meet market needs. Maintain a recruiting network for store team candidates. Key Qualifications Four (4) years minimum retail store management experience. Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience required. Excellent communication skills and ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission. Excellent leadership skills and experience managing people in a customer‑facing environment. Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and managing costs for a comparable store. Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to achieve business goals. Problem‑solving skills and ability to work through challenges. Agility to meet business needs, especially during peak periods. Additional Requirements Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs. Flexibility to travel as required.
