This facility is a Level III Trauma Center and recognized as a Top Performing Rural Hospital by Chartis. The facility is Joint Commission Accredited and features a newly remodeled emergency room. It serves a regional population of 97,000 with a network of 5 clinics and 1 hospital in the area.


Opportunity: BC/BE - Emergency Medicine


This is an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician (or BC/BE Family Medicine with EM experience) to join a collegial, team-oriented department. The facility is seeking to add a 5th physician to their current team of 4 emergency medicine providers.


Job Details:

• 1.0 FTE position consisting of 11 shifts per month with opportunities to pick up additional shifts
• 24-hour coverage with 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)
• Single physician coverage during 1:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. with additional coverage during peak volume times
• NP/PA coverage weekdays and weekends (9:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m., 7 days a week)
• Annual volume of 13,000-14,000 patient visits per year
• Average patient volume of 16-18 patients per day
• EPIC DAX ambient voice system for clinical documentation
• Flexible scheduling options available

• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS/CALS, PALS
