Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized surgical care in the Operating Room setting. The role involves supporting neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma surgeries, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality clinical care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer perioperative nursing care to surgical patients while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and maintain sterile environments for complex procedures such as craniotomies and burr holes.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs, respond to intraoperative changes, and document clinical observations accurately.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and post-operative recovery activities.
  
  
• 
  Ensure all procedural supplies and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.
  
  
• 
  Comply with facility protocols, including mandatory drug screening and documentation deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid license and certification in nursing (RN licensure required) with a minimum of 2 years experience in neuro/spine, ortho, trauma, or general surgery.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in craniotomy and burr hole procedures.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work flexible shifts, including 4x10s or 5x8s, with call and late-day support as needed.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical skills in the operating room environment, including patient assessment and sterile technique.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with travel and local radius policies, including verification of certifications and clearance.
