Supply Chain Operations Associate

Job Description We are immediately hiring for a 3rd / overnight shift Supply Chain Operations Associate in Arlington, TX for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The Associate will support operational functions for the General Motors LLP Account, managing material availability and inventory control. Pay and Schedule Pay Type: Salaried Non‑Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary: $50,000 to $52,500 per year Schedule (3rd Shift): Sunday as needed 9:00 PM–6:30 AM and Monday‑Friday 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. Employees are expected to be flexible, willing to work a 6‑day workweek when required, including occasional Sundays. Overtime is frequent; typical overtime pay is time and a half. Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers; provide direction on ship‑schedule requirements and containment plans when behind schedule, including decisions on timing for supplier ship schedules. Track critical parts and develop/execute containment plans to prevent interruptions or downtime on the manufacturing line. Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material and spot buys as necessary. Set up and cancel truck loads for material pick‑up to support schedule variations, ensuring material coverage at lowest possible cost. Review part buffers to confirm they cover build requirements; document and manage S & AV code exceptions, including alarm‑interval maintenance. Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO; make judgments on posting inventory adjustments and investigate any record adjustment requests from the previous shift. Bachelor’s degree (preferred). 1 year + in administrative experience (preferred). 1 year + in relevant experience (preferred). Intermediate knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) (preferred). Intermediate knowledge of transportation management (preferred). Intermediate knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes (preferred). Travel None.
