Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume birthing center managing Labor and Delivery, Triage, and Postpartum couplets within established staffing ratios (1:2 L&D; 1:3–4 couplets)
• Attend and support deliveries independently, including circulating in C-section OR suites and assisting with newborn transition and delivery
• Titrate drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin per unit protocols
• Care for high-risk patient populations including preeclampsia, diabetic, and patients 33 weeks gestation and above
• Function in both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum settings, including routine mother-baby couplet care and attending low-risk deliveries
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring system and adhere to unit workflows, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Washington State or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required (1 year may be considered with documented prior travel nursing experience)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated ability to attend deliveries independently and circulate in C-sections
• Proficiency with titratable drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin)
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• Experience with Centricity Perinatal EFM system and EPIC electronic health records
• Familiarity with AWHONN guidelines and high-risk obstetric patient populations
