This well-established medical facility serves the Upper Peninsula community and features a 25-bed department equipped with modern technology, including a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite. The facility offers a dedicated clinic space for the urologist and provides lodging accommodations when available during scheduled shifts.

Board Eligible/Board Certified – Urology

Job Details:

• Long-term locum tenens coverage seeking a 1-year or longer commitment with an August 2026 preferred start date
• 2 week on/2 week off rotation schedule, with dates flexible
• Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts; typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am – 5pm
• No call coverage required
• Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold an active MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required
• Current board certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery required
• At least 50 urological procedures reflective of privileges requested within the past 12 months required, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency/clinical fellowship within past 12 months
• ACLS certification required
• General adult urology skills required
• Laparoscopic surgery experience required
• Ureteroscopy experience required
• Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy experience required
• TRUS biopsies experience required
• Fertility work-up experience required
• Facility lodging available with amenities when scheduled shifts permit
• Nearest airport: CMX – Hancock, MI
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
